United Way of Indiana County Announces 2026 Summer Grant Program!

At United Way of Indiana County, we believe strong communities are built when neighbors come together to meet local needs. Through our Summer Grant Program, we are proud to continue investing in programs and organizations that make a meaningful difference throughout Indiana County.

Each year, nonprofit organizations across our community work tirelessly to address critical issues affecting children, families, seniors, and individuals in need. The Summer Grant Program was created to help strengthen those efforts by providing funding opportunities that support innovative programs, emerging needs, and community-based solutions.

Funding through the program is available to eligible nonprofit organizations serving Indiana County residents. Grant projects should align with one or more of United Way’s core focus areas:

Youth Opportunity
Healthy Community
Financial Security
Community Resiliency

From educational enrichment and food security initiatives to mental health support, emergency assistance, and programs that promote long-term stability, these grants are designed to empower organizations that are creating lasting local impact.

“Our community is strongest when we work together,” said United Way of Indiana County. “The Summer Grant Program allows us to partner with organizations that are addressing real needs and improving lives across Indiana County every single day.”

The United Way encourages nonprofit organizations with strong programmatic plans and a passion for serving the community to apply. By investing in local initiatives, the Summer Grant Program helps ensure that resources stay local and directly benefit the people of Indiana County.

Applications and additional information about eligibility requirements can be found on the official United Way of Indiana County website.

Together, we can continue building a healthier, stronger, and more resilient Indiana County for everyone.
